Tips

Tips are asked for after the appointment, never when booking. Set them up in Settings → Money → Tips.

Settings

• Ask clients for a tip: turns tipping on.
• Suggested tips (%): up to 4, separated by commas, for example 15, 18, 20.
• Work out tips on: the price before tax, or the total with tax.
• Visits with several staff: split by each person's service, or all to the main stylist.
• Ask online once the appointment is done: when you mark it done, the client gets an email and a notification to tip by card, open for 48 hours. This needs card payments.

In person

When you record a payment, add the tip in its own field, or use the suggested percentage buttons.

What clients see

Clients get a Leave a tip page, also on their Bookings page, saying the tip goes to the person who did their appointment. Tips show separately in Sales.
