Setting up your business

When you sign up and choose I'm a pro, BeautyReso walks you through five quick steps. You can change everything later, and nothing goes live until you publish.

1. What do you offer?

Pick every type of service you do (hair, nails, lashes, tattoos and so on). Mark one as your Main type. Clients find you under all of them, and BeautyReso suggests starter services for each.

2. Choose your plan

Start on Free, or start a free month of Solo or Studio. No card is needed for the free month. See Plans and billing.

3. Your business

• Business name: how clients see you.
• Web address: your page's address, like beautyreso.ca/b/your-name. It needs at least 3 letters or numbers, and must not already be taken.
• Address or area: shown on your page. A neighbourhood is fine if you work from home.
• Timezone: every booking time uses it.

4. Your services

Tick the suggested services you offer, then set your price and how long each takes. On Free you can have up to 10.

5. Your hours

Set the days and times you work. Clients can only book inside them.

If something goes wrong

• "That web address is taken": try another one, such as adding your city.
• "Pick at least one type of service you offer": tick at least one type in step 1.
• "The Free plan includes up to 10 services": untick some, or start a free month of Solo.
