Messages

Messages is a private chat between clients and pros. Clients can ask about a look or check availability before they book; pros can follow up with clients.

Starting a chat

Tap Message on any look, pro page or profile.

In a chat

• Type in the box and tap the send arrow.
• Send a photo (for example inspiration or a before photo).
• Share a look from the feed or your saves.

New messages also show as notifications.

Blocking and reporting

From the ⋯ menu on a profile or chat:

• Block [name]: they can't message or follow you, and you stop following each other. You can unblock them later.
• Report: choose a reason (inappropriate content, harassment or bullying, not their work, scam or fraud, something else). The BeautyReso team reviews every report.

If something goes wrong

• "You can't message this person.": one of you has blocked the other.
• "Your message didn't send. Try again.": check your connection and send again.
