Importing clients and moving from Square

From a spreadsheet (Booksy, Fresha, Vagaro and others)

Export your clients from the other app as a CSV file. On Clients, choose Bring clients from another app → Choose a CSV file. The first row needs headings like Name, Phone, Email (notes are optional). You can import up to 2,000 clients at a time. Afterwards, merge any duplicates from a client's page.

From Square

Square can bring your clients, services and future appointments in one go.

1. Connect Square first in Settings → Money.
2. Open Settings → Move from Square.
3. Who's who: match each person on Square to someone on your BeautyReso team. Their services and appointments go to that person, or you can skip their appointments. Invite missing people from Team first, then come back.
4. Start the import. It can take a minute. New services go into your main service type, and you can move them into sections afterwards.

Past imports lists each import. Undo removes its appointments, and the clients and services it added that nothing else uses.

Only the owner or a manager can import.

If something goes wrong

• "We couldn't find a name column": make sure the first row has headings like Name, Phone, Email.
• "That file is too big": split it into smaller files.
• "We couldn't read your Square account": reconnect Square in Settings → Money.
