Hours, schedule and time off

Regular working hours, changing a single day, publishing the schedule, and time off.

Regular hours

Hours sets each person's usual week. Clients can only book inside these hours, in your business's timezone. A day can have more than one shift (for example a lunch break), and each shift can repeat every week or every other week. With more than one location, each shift belongs to one.

If you shorten hours and clients are already booked outside them, you'll be told: move them on the calendar first, or save anyway and they stay booked.

The schedule: changing a single day

Schedule shows the week for everyone. Change one day (a later start, a day off) without touching the regular hours: Changes here apply to this day only. You can also:

  • Copy last week to this week, for everyone.
  • Publish & notify to tell people their hours changed.
  • See warnings like Clients outside someone's hours.

Time off

  • Request time off (holiday, training…) for yourself. Someone who manages hours approves it, and it shows as Waiting for approval until then.
  • People who manage hours can Add time off or Block off time directly.
  • Time-off requests to approve show under Time-off requests.

If something goes wrong

  • "Each shift needs a start time before its end time" or "Two shifts on the same day overlap": fix the times.
  • "You can only change your own hours.": ask someone who manages hours.
